Strengthen Our National Security

While our enemies must take our words and actions seriously. If they attempt to jeopardize the safety of our country, there will be consequences. I, having been appointed by Governors Rick Perry and Greg Abbott as Texas State Commissioner of the Texas Holocaust & Genocide Commission, knows the danger of groups, like ISIS, which poses a security threat to the United States, particularly on our southern border. I understand the importance of our national security and will be an advocate for safety.

Lower the National Debt

National debt is $27 trillion+, That is held by the public and government accounts. This is one of our greatest national security threats. Our future and future generations of Americans depend on it. I will support a balanced budget amendment that will reign in spending if Congress fails to maintain a balanced budget.

Ensure Free & Fair Elections

Election integrity is vital to our election process and The United States of America. We know massive voter fraud was committed in the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election. I will work to ensure a free, honest, and lawful election for all registered voters in the 23rd congressional district of the State of Texas.

Stop Illegal Immigration

We are a country created and built on immigrants. America welcomes all immigrants, but it must be done legally. Illegal immigration is a threat to our national security. Migration, specifically along our southern border, is a point of entry for drug smuggling and human trafficking. I will work in Congress to establish policies that will stop illegal immigration and will advocate for the completion of the border wall to deter illegal immigration.

The right to defend oneself and their family is a human right. We were born with this right, it was not given to us by the government. As the Representative for congressional district 23, Alia Garcia, will work hard to ensure our second amendment rights are protected under the law, according to the Constitution. Alia will also work tirelessly to fight unnecessary gun regulation for law-abiding American citizens.

Protect the Lives of the Unborn

I am a staunch defender of life. All human life is precious and equal in the eyes of God. Abortion stops a beating heart and we must give a voice and protect the innocent life that cannot defend themselves. I oppose the use of abortion except in cases of rape, incest, or if the mother’s life is in danger.

Support Our Greatest Ally, Israel

The United States is founded on Judeo – Christian beliefs. We have strong ties to Israel due to our common beliefs and values. Israel is the only free-standing democracy in the region, with many enemies, like Iran, who want to destroy it. We must protect and defend our greatest ally, Israel.

Guarantee Personal Freedoms

Personal freedom is the cornerstone of being an American. Government and society function best when the Constitution is followed. Personal freedom is greater when the government is limited and nonintrusive. I will champion legislation that will protect and defend your personal freedoms and allow Americans to pursue the American Dream without unconstitutional government interference.

Support Our Veterans

Creating a Stronger Economy

I believe that anyone who works hard and plays by the rules should be able to achieve their own American Dream. My economic priorities are: support measures that put American workers and businesses back at the forefront of our economy, create family-sustaining careers and true wealth creation for legal citizens and residents.

Fight for Educational Opportunities

A child’s zip code should not determine their school and the quality of their education. Parents have a right to decide which school best fits their kids’ educational needs. School choice creates greater opportunities to have access to superior education especially for those with special needs. Educational funding should go to the student, not the failing school systems. I will fight for educational opportunities for our children because every child deserves the best education possible.

Repel Section 230

Section 230, was passed into law as part of the Communications Decency Act of 1996. It allows social media companies to censor the content posted on their site. Companies such as Amazon used section 230 to justify removing the free speech outlet, Parler from their web hosting service. Facebook and Twitter also justified banning President Trump and other conservatives from their outlets by falsely stating they were blatantly lying. I will fight to repeal section 230 as Congresswoman of district 23, so all Americans will have freedom of speech in the public forum.

Back the Blue

Our brave men and women in blue, brown & green protect and serve their community selflessly. Each day they put their lives on the line to shield us from danger. The left wants to defund law enforcement agencies and departments. It leaves the community vulnerable and subject to a spike in crime. We must give our law enforcement the funding and tools necessary to protect themselves and our communities. Alia will advocate for legislation that will put our communities and brave men and women in blue, brown & green first.
